Classmates.com is a social network operated by PeopleConnect, Inc. that connects people through school and alumni networks. Unlike most data brokers, most Classmates profiles were created by the person themselves. If you have an account, delete it through settings. If you appear without ever having signed up — typically from yearbook data — email [email protected] to request removal.

REMOVAL STEPS

IF YOU HAVE A CLASSMATES ACCOUNT:

  2. Go to Account settings
Navigate to the Account or privacy settings section of your profile.

  3. Cancel and delete your account
Follow the prompts to terminate your membership and delete your account.
Upon cancellation, Classmates may retain personal information for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

  4. Submit a formal deletion request (optional)
For a confirmed data deletion, email [email protected] or submit a Data Subject Request at classmates.com. Reference your Right to Delete under applicable state privacy law.

IF YOU NEVER HAD A CLASSMATES ACCOUNT (yearbook / alumni data):

  1. Email [email protected]
Include your name as it appears in the yearbook, the school(s) and year(s), the page(s) on which you appear, and screenshots of your image(s) if possible.

Classmates will verify your identity and process the request within a reasonable timeframe.

TIPS

  • Classmates is part of the PeopleConnect family of sites, which also includes Intelius and other people-search properties. Opting out of Classmates does not remove you from those sites.

  • Your name and school affiliation may appear in search engine results for some time after account deletion, depending on the search engine's indexing cycle.

  • California, Texas, and other state residents have additional rights including Right to Know, Correction, and Opt-Out of Sale. Use the Request Form at classmates.com or email [email protected].

  • The correct contact email for all privacy matters is [email protected] — not the general support address.
