MyLife creates reputation profiles that can be purchased by others. Submitting a deletion and opt-out request removes your profile from the site, closes any registered accounts associated with your information, and unsubscribes your email from their communications.

⏱ Time: 10 min
🎯 Difficulty: Medium
📋 Method: Privacy request form (name, state, city, zip, birth year)
⏳ Processing: Within legally required timeframes
📂 Category: People Search

REMOVAL STEPS

  1. Go to the Privacy Request Form
    Visit mylife.com/privacyrequest

  2. Select your state
Choose your state from the dropdown. MyLife processes opt-out and deletion requests for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Texas, Virginia, and several other states — and extends these options to other states at their discretion.

  3. Fill out the required fields
Enter your first name, last name, city, postal/zip code, and birth year. Birth year helps MyLife locate the correct profile if multiple records share your name.

  4. Add optional details if needed
Middle initial, maiden name or alias, and your direct profile URL can help MyLife find the right record. To find your profile URL, use the link on the form page to search MyLife.com.

  5. Enter your email address
Include your email to receive a confirmation when deletion is complete. MyLife will also unsubscribe that email and delete any accounts registered with it.

  6. Complete the CAPTCHA and submit
Check the "I am not a robot" box and submit the form.

  7. Verify removal
Watch for a confirmation email. After processing, search your name on MyLife to confirm your profile is gone.

TIPS

  • Submitting the opt-out also removes your profile, closes accounts, and unsubscribes your email — it covers more ground than a standard opt-out.

  • MyLife may have profiles tied to old email addresses, aliases, or previous names. If you have multiple, submit separate requests or include them as alias names in the form.

  • For additional support, contact MyLife Customer Care at [email protected].

  • MyLife has historically been aggressive about selling profile access — removal is worth the extra few minutes.

  • The CCPA form is available to all U.S. residents regardless of your state.
